Reading Golf Course straddles the Berkshire and Oxfordshire border at Emmer Green, on the northern edge of Reading, where town meets country. Just a few minutes from the centre of town, the parkland course, on the fringes of the Chilterns, offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities from the novice to the professional.

“Reading Golf Club is a fantastic golf course set in beautiful surroundings.
A James Braid design with challenging greens and an addictive layout that
leaves you wanting to play againand again”
Will Alsop Golf Professional

Over recent years the course has gained a deserved reputation for superb greens and top quality presentation and a continuous programme of improvements has ensured the course is in tip top condition all year round.

The Clubhouse provides a warm friendly welcome to golfers and non-golfers alike in both the Bar and Dining areas.

We welcome enquiries about membership of the Club (currently there is no joining fee) and about playing the course as a visitor or a golfing society. All the details are here or just call the General Manager on 0118 9472909 or use our contact form.
